This project will ensure compliance with the European Directive on eInvoicing in Public Procurement, implementing the European eInvoicing standard, and will provide a more efficient process for on-boarding DES suppliers, particularly those with limited resources.

The Education Shared Business Services (ESBS) will provide compliant services, including eInvoicing, to the Educational Training Boards (ETBs) who are Regional Authorities throughout Ireland who oversee all Public Secondary Schools, as well as further Education and Training establishments in their region.

The project will be completed in June 2018. However, the on-boarding of suppliers through the ESBS will continue after the project end. A dedicated portal has been developed by the project partners to ensure continuity and sustainability.
